Concept E 200 Control

Concept E 200 Control delivers more performance and more bass than its counterpart for novices, the Concept E 100 Control. It can fill spaces up to 20 square metres in size with rich, powerful and distortion-free sound.

Console, speakers and cables
Concept E 200 Control follows the same combination concept as the less-powerful Concept E 100 Control. Teufel's ControlStation 2 provides comfortable operation and a convenient connection point while an active subwoofer with a 5.1 amplifier and five compact, high-quality loudspeakers deliver captivating sound.

An advantage
We significantly built out the subwoofer of the Concept E 200 Control with 300 watts of maximum power and a 250 mm bass driver in an extra-large bass reflex enclosure. It's a louder, deeper system.

The centrepiece
ControlStation 2 is a small preamplifier establishing a connection to your PC and multiple audio input devices like MP3 players, iPods, internet radios, DJ mixers, etc. Switch between PC, Audio 1 and Audio 2 with the push of a button.

Headphones and a microphone

Surround sound from any source
A ControlStation 2 internal matrix processes inbound stereo signals and distributes them to all five speakers and the subwoofer. The resulting sound is far better than conventional two-channel PC stereo sound. This feature can also be turned off using the ControlStation 2 "Pure" mode. Authentic Dolby Digital/dts 5.1 is rendered in its original form by the sound card.

Remote control included
ControlStation 2 includes an infrared remote control which gives you easy wireless access to all of the essential functions of your sound system even when you aren't in front of your computer.

Captivating sound
This Teufel system renders your music files on an impressive sound stage. Its subwoofer delivers physically perceptible bass down to 36 hertz (-3 dB), and its full-range satellite speakers render mid- to high-range sound in a detailed, undistorted and loud way. The system's satellite speakers have been meticulously calibrated for use with its integrated 300 watt amplifier.

Compared to the entry model Concept E 100, the Concept E 200 is distinguished by two qualities: more performance, more bass.

Ideal combination set
This enables the set not only to produce loud and sustained sound for a PC workstation, but also for an entire living room up to 20 m². The basic concept of the speaker combinations is identical: an active subwoofer with a 5.1 amplifier supplies five compact, yet powerful satellite speakers.

Stepped-up concept

Plenty of input sources
The Concept E 200 was also designed to be connected directly to the sound card outputs of the computer. However, DVD player, CD portables, MP3 player, iPod docks, TV set, radio transmission systems and many other components with analogue outputs can also be used as sound sources. Even stereo signals are passed through the five speakers and the subwoofer, making the set sound much better than the normal stereo playback of ordinary computer speakers!

Easy audio fun
The three buttons on the front of the subwoofer will let you directly carry out the most commonly used functions: adjusting the volume and the bass level, and switching off the unit. Everything else is controlled by the software or hardware of the sound source, which sends stereo or 5.1 signals to the Concept E 200. The Teufel speaker set converts this into an impressive sound backdrop.

The subwoofer generates deep basses down to 36 Hertz (-3 db), the full range satellites reproduce all music information from the mid-tone to the treble range undistorted and down to the last detail, thanks to their meticulous set-up.
